“Just Like Me” short documentary
I created and directed Just Like Me, a short documentary that I also illustrated and designed while providing creative and art direction. The film spotlights eight Black creatives, blending interviews with original visuals to highlight both triumphs and obstacles while emphasizing representation and legacy. It was featured at the 2023 Chicago Humanities Festival (May 2023) and shown at the NYC Poster House (Aug 2023), extending its cultural reach and impact. The project has also led to invitations to speak at schools and colleges, where I share insights on creativity, storytelling, and representation.
