See What I’m Sayin’ magazine

I self-published See What I’m Sayin’ Magazine (Vol. 1), serving as Creative Director, Art Director, Illustrator, and Photographer. The project reimagined lyrics from 90s and 2000s hip-hop songs through illustration, turning the music into bold visual narratives. Drawing on my advertising background, I designed parody brands and ads within the zine to add a satirical critique of consumer culture. Alongside illustrating and photographing all of the images, I also produced associated merch that extended the magazine’s themes into wearable and collectible items.
