Nas –  illmatic: Live from The Kennedy Center

I contributed to Nas’s Illmatic legacy across both design and storytelling projects. For Illmatic: Live From The Kennedy Center, I provided art direction and vinyl packaging, along with promotional materials for the release through Mass Appeal, performed with the National Symphony Orchestra and broadcast as part of PBS’s Great Performances. I also worked on The Architects of Illmatic, a Hennessy x Mass Appeal video series, where I consulted on talent selection and helped feature key voices such as producers DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, and famed photographer Danny Clinch. Together, these projects merged physical design with documentary storytelling to amplify Illmatic’s enduring cultural significance.
